The location here is incredible, surrounded by beautiful greenery and it's only a mile away from Ilot de Gorgulho Island; had a fantastic meal at the restaurant.

The rose garden is very nice.

A month before we stayed at the hotel we got an email that our stay was fully paid. Quite strange, normally you pay when you arrive or leave. The email also said that one side of the road was cut. We thought one lane, but it turned out to be the whole road. We wanted to explore the eastern site of madeira, but on the day we arrived at the quinta we found out we couldn't. Because we had an early flight and the road to the airport was blocked we asked if we could leave one day early. No problem, until we checked out. We didn't get our money back, not even part of it. We had to sent an email. We did, but got no reaction. So we paid double, because we of course already made arrangements in a hotel near the airport. Other than that the houses are old en for breakfast you get only a small bread. They obviously cut the wrong expenses.

The location of the hotel was magnificent and beautiful, in the surrounding villages. I thoroughly enjoyed the brand-new room and 2 single beds or 1 double bed: )

The proximity to the Museu da Vinha e do Vinho was great and amazing.

This is a rural hotel located a fair distance from the nearest significant shopping area and has good self catering facilities. It is set amongst large gardens and near a compehensive rose garden. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Lovely pool area, savoury and good breakfast with juice and the served fruits, for instance. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and quick to respond. Tranquil setting and restaurants and cafés next to the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location within a beautiful lush garden created a serene and peaceful atmosphere. We woke up to the sweet melodies of birds singing and enjoyed relaxing in the hammock while sipping our morning coffee. The surrounding nature truly enhanced our comfort and provided a tranquil retreat.

The large en suite room and bathroom at the Pestana hotel were impressive, complete with complimentary toiletries and a fantastic walk-in shower. The spacious wardrobe allowed for easy organization of my clothes. The vintage foosball table in the community reception area was a fun addition. I enjoyed the delicious variety of Continental buffet breakfast offered at the nearby restaurant. The hotel's own water purifying system gave me peace of mind. Lastly, the friendly staff made my stay even more enjoyable.

The local food was amazing, and the hotel's location on Madeira is perfect. The room was relaxing, and the staff were outstandingly accommodating and really good. The hotel offers lots of facilities, including a multi-channel television, a dining area, and a sitting area. The location next to the cliff linking the Arco de Sao Jorge, mountains, and nature, as well as Santana, is perfect.
